SheKnows Magazine - February 15, 2021

I've written my first article about my journey to babies! And of course it wouldn’t be complete without illustrations from Catalogue Baby and a beautiful photo by Felicia Chang. It was interesting and challenging trying to condense 4.5 years of intense experiences into a mere 900 words, but I did it! I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity to share my story with so many people, and I hope it can help others going through infant loss and/or infertility know they are not alone.

Beyond Postpartum Podcast - February 10, 2021

Heather Allyn and I had a fantastic conversation about not only my fertility journey and Catalogue Baby, but also my life during my twin pregnancy and the challenges of life with babies in the NICU. Living with infertility and infant loss isn't just about the difficult journey to children. It's also about the sometimes surprising emotional repercussions if a birth is successful. It's about the ptsd, the choices made as a parent which are influenced by the fears of past trauma, the conversations to be had with the kids about their origin story as embryos conceived via double donor, and so much more. Take a listen here. If you’ve heard the pre-birth story before, feel free to jump to about the 18 minute mark to hear the rest.

Seeking Ceremony Blog

Megan Sheldon has created an app and a website all about bringing ceremony into one’s life. Birthdays and weddings are not the only occasions worthy of ritual. Birth, death, infant loss, joys, grief - they all benefit from bringing attention to them in a deeply personal and meaningful way. She wrote a piece about a stone that was central to my final (and finally successful) pregnancy. Check it out, and check out her website and her offerings. They are beautiful, touching, and necessary i na world starved for connection and meaning.
